| National Area Heats for: Singles, Pairs, Triples, Fours, Mixed Fours and Under 18's Singles. |
Qualifying rounds for the National Competitions. Although players need to be registered with county club teams but not necessary for the players to be from the same Club. Played on a Single day during the season. |

| County Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours. |
Open to all bowlers registered with Clubs within the County. Generally played to the semi-final or final stages with the winners being decided on 'Finals Day'. |

| County Club Championship. |
Comprising of ten bowlers generally from the same Club playing four games in each round as a Single, Pair, Triples and a Rink. A Club may 'borrow' up to two players from another Club but these players are restricted to playing at position two in the Rink, if one player 'borrowed', and also at Lead in the rink if two players are 'borrowed'.One additional player - and the same player - may be used as a substitute at any time provided that he or she has not already played in the competition.A knockout competition usually played to a conclusion on one day. | |

Limited to Captain's of teams entered in the Winter League. Played as a one day 'round robin' then knockout competition. | |
